Team Schedules

Every Team Knows Where to Be.

Each team gets a personal, live schedule on their phone: every match they play, every match they ref, plus the court and start time for each. Pool standings update as results post, so nobody’s guessing. Fewer “what court are we on?” texts, fewer forgotten ref duties, a smoother day for everyone.

FAQ

Straight
Answers.

Including the ones that make us look worse. If something here isn't clear, ask us directly — a real person answers.

Fifty cents per player, per event. That's the entire price list. No subscription, no setup fee, no per-registration charge, and nothing added to your players' checkout. Your first event is free.

A 64-team doubles event is 128 players, so it costs you $64. A percentage model on that same event ($80 a team, 4%) runs about $205.

Only if you want to take card payments online. Plenty of promoters keep collecting on Venmo or cash and use Bracket Breeze purely to run registration, pools, brackets, and scoring. Free and offline-payment events work with no Stripe connection at all.

When you do take cards, Stripe's standard processing fees apply (2.9% + 30¢ per transaction). That goes to Stripe, not to us. We never take a percentage and never hold your funds.

You can run an event on paper, and for really small tournaments it's genuinely fine. Paper isn't the problem. Change is.

Pools get drawn the night before. Then a team withdraws, another one doesn't show at 8am, and the sheet you spent an hour on is wrong. Fixing it on paper means redrawing by hand at the worst possible moment, with everyone standing around waiting to hear where they're playing. The stress was never building the tournament. It's rebuilding it.

Here that same change is a few clicks. Withdraw the team and the refund is handled in the same step, reseed the pools around who you actually have, and the schedule follows. The rest stops being guesswork too: one table shows every team's roster, waiver, payment, and check-in status, and you can filter it down to just the teams who still owe you something.

Waivers are the sharpest example. On paper, fifty players means a stack of half-legible forms signed at a folding table, and a fair number of them signed by somebody's teammate. Here every player signs their own when they register, so by the morning of the event it's already done and you can see at a glance who hasn't.

It was never that you can't do this on paper. It's just that Bracket Breeze makes it better for your players and easier for you.

Every team gets its own schedule. It shows the matches they're confirmed to play or ref, and the ones they might play, depending on results to that point.

That last part is what keeps a tournament on time. A team that can see it may be reffing in two matches doesn't wander off to lunch, so you're not sending someone to find them while a court sits empty.

The Court Manager is the view you keep open all day. Every court: what's on it right now, what's queued up behind it, and which ones are falling behind.

On paper that picture lives across a dozen score sheets and a few people's memories. Here it's one screen, so you can move a match while there's still time for it to matter.

The platform tracks it, whether or not the money came through the platform. If you take cards online, payment status updates itself as teams register. If you collect on Venmo, cash, or anything else, you mark the team paid and it's recorded against that team, so “who still owes me” is a screen, not a memory test.

Refunds go back through the original payment and stay attached to the registration, so a rain-out doesn't turn into reconstructing a weekend of Venmo history from your phone.

Seeding pulls from more than one signal, and none of them are a number the player types in themselves. Where we have match history, seeding is driven by a rating computed from actual results: wins, losses, and who they came against. Where we don't yet, a new player self-assesses, but that's a starting point the system corrects as soon as they play.

Being straight with you: a results-based rating gets sharper the more events feed it, so it's better in metros where several promoters are running on the platform than it is on day one. It won't catch every sandbagger at your first event. What it will do is stop the same person from doing it twice.

For your first event, close to none. Setup is fast enough to do yourself: divisions, pools, brackets, and your registration link in a few minutes. You finish with a live event, not homework.

You leave. There's no contract and no subscription to cancel. You keep your players, your brand, and your money, because we never had any of them.
